March 25: No Choice Transformation

On March 25, 2021, I’ll be speaking and participating in a panel at UXStrat’s Design Thinktank focused on Innovation in Times of Uncertainty. The list of speakers is exceptional and certain to offer relevant inspiration in this very real “Time of Uncertainty”.

My topic is titled No Choice Transformation. Here’s the abstract:

Covid has taken a terrible toil. The uncertainty, loss of life and impact on the economy continues even as vaccines are being rapidly scaled. Organizations across industries had begun investing into digital business transformation, but many suddenly had no choice. This talk will be shared in three acts. In act one, we’ll review trends across industries over the past year which have forced transformation. Second, we’ll dive into specific cases of transformation. Third, we’ll share longitudinal principles of innovation which are relevant with or without times of uncertainty.

The panel is also going to be great with innovation leaders Executive Creative Director Chiara Diana with frog in Milan, VP of UX Heidi Munc with Nationwide in the USA, Remko Vermeulen with Koa Health in Barcelona,

The full program overview is described as such:
During times of uncertainty and unusual challenges, many companies cut programs and staff, to 'hunker down' and survive the storm. But others forge ahead and invent new products and experiences. We'll have design leaders discuss their innovation programs and how they encourage their stakeholders to move forward.
